After aquiring the Gluck Barograph section in 2006, we now produce clockwork barographs in the same design (but improved), available in a spray polished Rosewood case fitted with bevelled edged glass. Has drawer for charts. Included is 100 charts and ink (we also make our own design barograph which we can mount in the Rosewood case at a higher cost) Click for larger image

 Traditional English oak cased barograph with draw for spare charts, bevel edged glass to sides and top, with traditional stainless steel nib, drum worked by clock work movement. Supplied with 100 charts and ink. These have specially made by us at Merton, We now make the clock as well, with swiss escapement . The brass is fine grained by hand and lacquered. Some parts are burnished steel, we use blued screws as well. The bellows stack are individual capsules screwed together like old barographs. (in fact we ocassionally use these bellows for repairs to antique barographs) The 3mm thick base plate is decoratively concave milled around its edge and sequentially numbered between R/101 and R/200 and engraved 'P.Collins MERTON' these are collectors pieces of the future, designed by our director Philip Collins - author of 'Barographs' a history and study of old barographs - unsurpassed quality and totally unique. The cases are English Oak made and french polished by hand in our own workshop. The top glass is secured by oak strips screwed in with brass screws. (we can supply at lower price in a factory made rosewood case if preffered) Sorry only one display model available in English Oak Case. Same movements can be mounted in the Rosewood case in future at less cost.
