A Figured Walnut veneered Banjo aneroid Barometer, The design based on a Victorian barometer with the added scrolls to sides of the case. Normal good German movement which is temperature compensated. These were made a few years ago and we are able to offer at special lower than normal price for the quality of this fine piece. The dial is 6 inch diameter.

Large Mahogany figured veneered aneroid barometer with black & white wood stringing to edge, architectural pediment, spirit thermometer with hygrometer above and level at base. The dial approx 8 inches in diameter.A very traditional style barometer that looks like a mercury wheel barometer of circa 1830 but the dial is divided with millibars as well as old fashioned inches.

A medium sized banjo shape aneroid barometer with yew wood veneer and black and white inlay to edge of case. Teh Spirit filled thermometer in glazed box aith convex mirror above and hygrometer at base. A pleasant good sized barometer with a lighter wood for modern homes.
28 1/4" high and 7 3/4" wide with approx 6" diameter dial.

Mahogany figure veneered open dial aneroid barometer with black & white stringing to edge, architectural pediment, spirit thermometer and hygrometer. This popular design is specially adapted by us by inserting a twin capsule open dial barometer into an existing model. The movement is thicker so extends slightly out the rear of the barometer which is balanced by 2 small pieces of cork to sit firmly on the wall. Open dial barometers like this have allways been popular in olden days, perhaps appealing to engineering minded owners. Pattern and colour of wood can vary.
