 Click for larger image | Vacuum Set Ref: 3000701 Dimensions: .5 L, .75L and 1LWeight: 1250g Price: £18.00 ($35.29) Including VAT at 17.5%
A set of three food containers, 0.5 litres, 0.75 litres and 1 litre capacity plus a wine saver. True an unusual departure from our normal product lines but these use simple vacuum technology to preserve food such as crisps, nuts, biscuits, cereals etc. Excellent at Christmas and party times to keep half used quantities of food from spoiling. I first bought my wife a set in a small hardware shop in Holland when visiting Bert Bolle's Barometer Museum around 1994 and despite contacting the company then could not track them down, Since then the company has grown and we are pleased to stock these items for your pleasure and delight. They can also be used to test small pocket type barometers crudely in auction situations as the plastic bag test only indicates if the barometer responds to pressure. When I tested one it managed to get down to less than 18 inches of mercury far more than most barometers can go to. |

Our Largest and most expensive Weather House, with carved trees , wood fence etc, Made in Germany This is NOT a toy and contains small parts not suitable for children under 5 We have also noticed that the operation is not as good as the smaller ones due to the adjustable chimney in the roof tending to turn instead of the figures, probably due to their larger size, so a small amount of blue tack might be needed to stoped the chimney turning - but it is the best looking new one we have seen . |
