'Best Buy' for anyone wanting a simple good domestic barometer this is it. The German Aneroid movement in a lacquered spun brass case with white dial divided for Inches and millibars of mercury, with glass front. Our other barometers may well look better in their design and materials but most have the movement that is used in this model. A very reliable sturdy barometer - good as a starter model, (may lead to collecting barometers!) or for students, boating, fishing etc. Temperature compensated movement..
