Aneroid Barometers
Uses no fluid but consists of a capsule which has very little air inside. The size of this capsule varies with outside air pressure, and this is linked to a rotating measuring needle.
Mercury Barometers
A mercury barometer has a glass tube filled with mercury. Changes in pressure cause the mercury in the tube to rise or fall. Barometers in this section may be delivered by arrangment.
Barographs
A barograph records a graph of pressure over a period of time. It is a type made up of an aneroid barometer which uses a pen for a measuring needle and records the presure on a scale which is wrapped around a cylinder that is rotated by clockwork.
